The Australia Indonesia Business Council Ltd (AIBC) is the peak, non-profit business association involved with the promotion and facilitation of trade and investment between Australia and Indonesia. The AIBC is a national members-based association with branches in the ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, VIC and WA. The AIBC is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors comprising State/Territory branch Chairs and a National President, National Vice-President and National Honorary Treasurer who are elected at the Annual General Meeting of members.
The objectives of the AIBC are:
To play a vital leadership and lobbying role in the development of bilateral trade and investment between Australia and Indonesia:
To have a significant membership base, including both Indonesian and Australian business people across Australia;
To represent members to government;
To provide marketing and business facilitation for Small and Medium Enterprises;
To deliver tangible benefits to our members in the pursuit of their commercial activities at acceptable costs.
AIBC plays a key linking role within and between the business communities of the two nations. The AIBC provides timely and relevant information to members about opportunities with Indonesia, and is the strong voice for Australian business with interests in Indonesia.
